The Easiest Way to Make Friends

I wrote this last week as I was sitting in the airport...

I Love traveling and flying.  The one thing I don't always look forward to, however, are delayed flights. I have had my share of delayed flights from a certain airline recently.  And the first delayed flight in July ended up as a canceled flight and canceled our entire trip! As I am currently writing this, I am sitting in the airport waiting for our new plane to arrive.  Yes NEW plane.  It was originally scheduled for 10:50 AM but now I just hope our plane will take off at 7:00 PM tonight.  There were computer and tail problems.  We sat on the airplane in Atlanta for 3 hours and then by law, had to get off.  Hopefully after an 8 hour delay we can finally take off! I just want to get out of the time zone!

UPDATE: We FINALLY took off 12 hours later! Our 10:50 AM flight turned out to be a 10:50 PM flight.  It took four hours for food to get on the plane. The Atlanta police were even called! Even though it cut out 12 hours in Hawaii, we finally and safely made it.  My review of the trip will be coming soon!

Last Girls' Night

On Tuesday my friends and I had our last Girls' Night together before Chirstimas Break after we all return from our first semester of college.  We had an adventure- mostly around a fire pit but we did have some surprise visitors. :) We were all together so who could ask for anything more.

It is so crazy to think that in less than three weeks I will be moving into a college dorm and a little more than four months the first semester of college will be over! How crazy is that?! I am so thankful for my friends that I have made over the past four years.  I don't know where I would be without them.  We are almost all going to different colleges- 7 girls and 5 colleges.  It will be good that we all have our own experiences, as long as we don't completely forget each other! I can't wait to see what college has in store for us!

Of course there are so many other girls that I have grown close to and who have helped me through high school.  Like before, all of us are seperating and going our seperate ways to college.  But, we will have little lunch "reunions" here and there.  I can already tell! Are you ready for change?
